I believe there is no such thing as failure. The only way to fail, is to not do anything at all. Perspective is EVERYTHING! Your circumstances, at least the gravity there of, lay solely in your perspective. Far too often, we regard what is deemed as failure as a statement of WHO we are rather than an event that occurred in a given time. A moment is NOT a lifetime and a mis-step is not the “end all, be all” in the big picture of our lives. Failure is simply FEEDBACK for what works vs what doesn’t. According to Japanese proverbs “Failure teaches success”. We’ve been taught failure is a bad thing. It feels bad, so it must be bad, but is that really true?
To get mad at yourself for not being perfect and thereby define yourself as a failure is crippling at best. Why… because there is no such thing! Perfection is an illusion that robs us of our greatness. I believe there is greatness in all of us, we all have it. Just the same, we all have our unique fears and they are there for a reason… to learn and grow!
It is not through success that we become wise, but through overcoming our trials and what we deem as failure. If you are reading this, hold it as evidence that you are an “over-comer”, even more so a “conqueror”… then go ahead and give yourself permission to be the AMAZING being that your are! Success is inevitable when just you don’t quit.
